Drove three benzes, some impressions
« on: August 29, 2015, 01:00:24 PM »
I was staying at w resort that let you have a Benz for a couple of hours each day. They had an E350, GL450 and an S550.

I'm coming from a 06 gs300 and more recently a G37 four door.

The S550 was legit. Tons of room, very high quality interior. The seats hug you during turns and were massaging seats as well. Very nice setup. I thought I could get a different hud since it's all a graphic but if u can I didn't figure it out. Def worth the money.

Next up was the E class. I hadn't been that let down since I downloaded a Japanese porn based on the front cover. It's a nice looking car. I loved the redesign and it's got good room inside. The materials felt plasticky but most of all the steering feel was non existent.

My old gs felt a ton better than this car in every way. It was a complete letdown. Why people make a big deal about this car I'll never know. My G37 would run circles around it and the build quality is at least as good.

The GL WAS cool but again nothing too special. For the prize you're just paying for that emblem.

I'm glad I got to test them out because it made me feel really good about sticking with the Japanese luxury cars. Minus Acura of course. Those fags at Honda are worthless.

Merc quality in the not so far past has been shabby, but it seems they have improved a lot. Still questionable if it's worth the money. Buying new makes no sens financially, and in Germany you can get 20% or more discount on many premium cars.
Premium says nothing about reliability, just the materials and image status if that's your thing
