Brilliant show.  Just watched it all.  Kind of wish they didn't fly through Pablo's rise to then spend 6 episodes of cat and mouse.  Would have liked to seen his rise to power in a little more detail.  Also that cop narrating is full of shit.  I'm pretty sure if he was the lead DEA agent they would have killed him earlier.  He had no protection.  One thing I fucking loved was Valeria.  She is so fucking sexy.  She is also the new bond girl in Spectre.  She's so sexy.  fuck!

Ya they ripped through it way too fast. They could have devoted an entire season to that rise which would have been very interesting. Where does the series go from here, or is it just the one season?

At this point it will be a second season of cat and mouse.  How many times will Pablo get away?  The last episode could have been the intro of the dea agent's chase of Pablo then they could have done a full season of it.  They essentially told his entire story real fast.  Killing off Gustavo so early as well.  Tell more about their story than the 5 minute into to them trying to smuggle TVs across the bridge.  Still a brilliant 10 episodes.

if you watched, then you would have heard he mentioned DEA agent Kiki Camarena and what happened to him. US didn't take too kindly to that.
The Kiki case also has a lot of twist and turns, and could be a movie or show itself.

He put a $500K bounty on Murphy's head but he managed to not be in danger.  He new early on that he couldn't kill DEA because that would mean extradition but once the gov. voted for it anyways why would he care?

The first episode clearly points out the reasoning.
When DEA agent Kiki Camarena was killed in Columbia, the US FEDS went on a rampage and brutally wiped out most of the Narcos.
It had nothing to do with extradition, they didn't want to deal with the backlash again.
