Roger Moore was undoubtedly handsome, tall and has a deep smooth voice PERFECT for Bond, his British accent is just bang on. He could carry himself in the glamorous surrounding that is supposed to be Bond's world.
Nobody did it better after him. Craig is not a true Bond personified and I believe everybody kind of knows it deep down. He is good at doing fighting scenes and being rugged much like a Bourne or a Jack Reacher. But when he's supposed to walk into a high-end cocktail party he simply lacks the necessary suaveness and stature that defines a player of Bond's caliber.
