I'd save the person without any second thought.

If it was Shizzo, I would save him and leave his dog to burn. That way they are both safe.

every person would save the human (unless it was their own dog or they hated the person) its a human instinct to save other humans first over anything, hard to explain, probably goes to caveman days. Same principle as when you get huge sense of guilt for no reason when you kill someone, hard to explain.

First time I shot someone dead I couldn't sleep for 2 years after. Gets easier more people you kill.

You have never taken a life. You wouldn't talk this way if you had.

I would watch both burning. Not very fond of dogs and people.

  • Father, forgive them; for they know not what they do.

... and you could only save either the human being or the dog, which one would you choose?

I would save the dog, parrot, cat, pig, snake, chicken or any other living being but not the person. It's a logical option for me.

You?

Unless I personally know the person from before or the person is not related to anyone I know, I would rather save a dog.

In fact I'd trade an entire African or Arabian nation's population for one St Bernard.
