They've been photographed together before, though.

Flex will stay in 212. No Need to go up. Why should he? To place barely top 6? Better be in 212 and win the title and earn all the money and fame. :)

I wonder how Flex would do if he put on a few pounds and competed in the mens open division. I mean, he probably wont because he will probably continue winning the 212 Mr. O, but it would be interesting to see.

I'm a brit but agree with Samir and Priest in that he should compete in the open. A 212 pound Mr Olympia Title means nothing. Look back and Labrada, Priest, Padilla, Benaziza .... They beat the mass monsters. If the IFBB had any business savy they would have encouraged an overall round to end the Olympia weekend.

What? None of them won the O. And neither will Flex. He's a midget next to Roden, Ramy, Wolf, Dex....

No because the standard was much higher back in the day. Lewis could prove he was top 3 in the world if he had the bollocks to compete in the open

Disagree. And we can look to one that is the absolutely authority on Flex Lewis' potential -- and that will be Flex himself. There's a reason he competes in the much less prestigious 212 class and making 1/10th the amount he would make if he won the open.

He knows the ins and outs of bodybuilding and how they are placed far more than you do. He isn't "afraid" of competing in the open. He just knows he has no chance. He's competed with big boys before. 40 grand in the 212 is better than out of of the money if he competed in the open.

All the pros are extremely short, the few tall ones are toney freeman, alex federov, and dennis wolf.  Its very dissapointing how short they are in person.  I think flex lewis is a great bodybuilding but he is probably 5 foot 3, my old lifting partner was 5 foot 5 on the nose and lewis was def shorter

Every single top pro is exaggerating his height with at least 1 inch and his weight with at least 10 lbs (in Ramy's case 20 lb).
