I think it makes perfect sense... you don't want to be fighting these people in 15 years, with technology advancing, etc. So why not whittle down their numbers by letting rebels/govt forces kill each other for a few years? And, that's exaclty what happened in Iraq... how many hundred thousand young men, capable of fighting us in a decade, were killed in their own civil war?
NOW, we have 2 groups that hate each other in Syria. Once side is machine-gunning crowds of hippies. the other is slashing heads off journalists. And they want to kill each other. UM, I'd say this one is a no-brainer lol... LET THEM FIGHT.
For once... Trump and I are in agreement!! hahahaha
