I think a jake brake operates by opening the exhaust valve on the compression stroke.  More of an exhaust brake guy myself but will make an exception if she's slathered in 15w40 and brings her own socket set.

None of us deleted it so it was either
A.  Ron deleted it based on a "report "without researching  or
B.  One of us moved it to the UK board where someone got their panties in a bunch and nuked it.

I tend to lean towards the latter.
