As a kid I thought he was huge. But now, maybe he would be 150lbs ripped, not that much muscle. Nothing really if applying bodybuilding standards.
His son on the other hand was very good.

Bolo didn't have upper chest development. In fact his chest was like that of someone who casually lifted. He was more bulky than anything.

Funny to see the side by side, and realising Lee and Bolo were the same size, muscularly. I easily believe he was drug free.

It's a bit like Vin Diesel - I remember watching XXX as a kid and thinking he looked massive. I watched it again recently but just realized he was bloofy with not much lean muscle. I think when you're a newbie and have no real muscle of your own, anyone with a decent amount of size appears "huge". As you develop and become more involved in BB, you start acknowledging the flaws in physiques which you previously wouldn't have noticed.
