I only workout on days ending in 'Y'

What's your current split?  Over the last couple of months I've just worked out everyday.  Not worries about this over training shit.  I figure that right now I'm cruising on 300MG/week Pfizer Test Cyp and eating everything in sight that the fear of over training is just bullshit lazy man talk.  Other than getting a little smooth on my stomach I am running pumped most of the time.  Feel good and enjoying the workouts.  I guess once I start to eat less maybe then I'll take a day off to moan.

I have been going 6-7 days per week for the past few years.
I recently took an entire week off after competition to give my body a break.
I plan on sticking to a strict 4 day split focusing on bringing up my strength, I lost a lot during my prep.

I'm currently training 5-6 days a week (M-Sat) taking Sunday off.  No bb chemicals (never used any actually), just some basic supplementation right now (vit/min, fish oil, probiotic, aspirin, creatine, whey).

I do 30-45 minutes of cardio each session followed by the weights (for 30-45 minutes).  Carbs and calories are currently reduced to lose bodyfat.  As time is passing I adjust time on cardio and weights, calories, carbs, etc....no perfect strategy.   Eat less and do more basically.

Very strong right now....really strong for me.  Trying to be super consistent, eat clean (but realistic....I ain't gettin on stage in a panty), have fun, improve health and not get hurt.

6 days a week, ultra high volume training too.

Only take Saturday off cos I have my son on Saturdays and gym closes at 8pm. When he went on holidays with his mother last year I did 14 days in a row just cos I couldn't think of a reason to take a day off - train through injuries too.

If I wanted to increase my strength I'd drop back to 4-5 days, lower volume and take breaks between sets but then I'd probably wreck my joints again.

I find the same.  I find if I don't work out that I'm sleepy and tired.  I'll want to nap all day long, but when I do work out I have energy throughout the day and sleep well at night.  Almost like an addiction that my body needs to feel good.   Physiological speaking it is probably the same as a caffeine, alcohol or drug addict, our bodies get used to it and a day of not doing it causes the body to act weird.

Use this to change your focus to conditioning and skip bodybuilding type stuff.

You don't need the sauce.

Shouldn't the ideal be to maximize your results with the least effort?


I have done 7 days a week, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2.

2-4 days a week are the most effective for me.
