This "athlete" know the importance of prioritizing the full range of motion over the sheer weight on the barbell for a perfect execution of the squat !!!
Sadly, there is plenty of guys training their whole bodybuilding life like that, meaning from the start to the injury which stops their training. Seen that happen many times, and there is one thing common with these guys: They can't take advice, no matter how it has been presented to them. There was a time when I try, now I just look another way and wait for the crash, which eventually will come one day. For example, there is this guy in my gym, who do 1" pelvis thrusts with 400lb, and that is only exercise which he seem to do even in the right ballpark with the original exercise. Quite crappy range of motion, that is true, but still semi correct posture
