MSNBC asks Carson Spokesman about the Lies/Inconsistencies in the Stabbing Story

Deana Bass, Carson spokesman, was just on MSNBC.

Tamara Hall, MSNBC anchor, asked her what she thinks about the Esquire story showing multiple inconsistencies in his violent stories. The carson spokesman sat there silent, mouth actually ajar, for 2 seconds, before Hall asked if she even knew about them.

Bass went on to say any fabrications are just haters doing the hating.  But now we clearly see what will be the coordinated attack on Carson - from Trump and the media - in the next week. 

Folks, you have to read and really realize... Carson's retelling of the stabbing story has changed several times - who was involved, what kind of knife was used, how it ended.   Then he stopped telling that story.  But it was in books, in interviews, and now his campaign is refusing to even talk about it.   It's gonna be his downfall.

Ben Carson's camp sees this as a problem. 

Carson has magically remembered that he doesn't think Popeye's called the police. 

Yes, read that again.  Armed gunman enters restaurant.  Witnesses present.  Man pointed gun at carson, but he suggested the register.  Already a cime has been committed, pointing a gun at Carson.

Then the robber points gun at worker.  Worker gives bad guy money.  Another 2 felonies.  But magically - and he didn't mention this until after people asked why there is no report - Carson is suddenly saying they didn't bother to call the cops.

This is a national chain.  An hourly employee robbed at gunpoint... and he doesn't call police?  Wouldn't that worker be fired, for the simple fact that hundreds of dollars are suddenly missing from the register?

This is a lie, and carson saying "oh yeah, that's right, I don't think they called the police" is admission he realizes he is caught lying.  And it's not an isolated incident.  This is Brian williams/Bill-O territory now.  Carson caught lying, and made up another lie to cover it.   NOBODY on getbig truly believes a national chain was robbed by armed man who also pointed gun at customer - and nobody called police.

SO he created a story (seemingly on the fly) to show he was NOT this heroic warrior.  That night, he joked to an interviewer about how he isn't all that... he was in a popeyes once (odd, as he was a staunch vegetarian), and a man came in with a gun and tried to rob him.  "I think you want to talk to him" and Carson pointed him to the counter, where the bad guy promptly went to get the money.

I see why he did it... claiming he was human after all, that he's not a badass that stops crimes.  But making up a series of felonies to illustrate his point?   It seems to me this is what he did.

Oh, they must have done that without my knowledge.  I had no relationship, that's just propaganda.


Now, IMO, he's lying to us.  He's giving paid speeches for a company, for money.  That VERY MUCH constitutes a relationship.  And yes, if they're using his picture and he's wearing their logo on his shoulder - I'd say that's some sort of relationship.

Cain claiming "that's just propaganda from the left" might work for the cheering base crowd, but in the real world, accepting tens of thousands of dollars, using products from, and letting your name/likeness be used on a company's site and matierals is very much a relationship.

he just accused the company of doing that without his knowledge.  It's gonna take them about 4 minutes to produce a signed agreement showing a relationship.   I cannot believe he'd insult people like that.
