Damn...pretty brutal

Photo: Alabama Students Hang “Finish What Katrina Started” Sign Ahead Of LSU Game

Update: According to Sean Landry of The Crimson White, the sign was posted at an off-campus apartment building. It’s since been taken down.
Earlier: We’ve seen some fairly offensive signs hanging from fraternities ahead of important college football games over the past few years. The below, which was spotted at Alabama Friday ahead of Saturday’s contest between the Crimson Tide and the LSU Tigers, might be the most ridiculous of all, though.
A group of Alabama fans appear to have posted a “Finish What Katrina Started” sign on their balcony. It’s a shot at the state of Louisiana, clearly.
This isn’t the first time that phrase has been uttered regarding a sporting event.
For the record, LSU running back Leonard Fournette, at the age of 10, had to live on the highway for over a week following Hurricane Katrina back in 2005. He told reporters earlier this year that he saw numerous dead bodies “floating” in the water in the aftermath.
Not cool.
