Explain this quote. Personally I'm not concerned about "weight" losing "weight" consists of losing water, fat and MUSCLE. If you program for fat loss the weight is going to drop anyway. Unless they're trying to make a weight class for an event I couldn't careless how much "weight" they lose. We're trying to change body composition not just lose "weight".
The bold part describes exactly the goal with most of my clients. It all depends on how high a client wants to raise the bar. When someone wants to become extremely lean or extremely strong, then you can't put them on a 'one-size-fits-all' training & diet regimen. The strongest ones aren't the leanest ones, and the leanest ones aren't the strongest ones.
