I agree that we are at a point where everyone has knowledge of and accessibility to one of the brands of COVID vaccines. Those who have been vaccinated, are protected, (supposedly). Those who have not are susceptible to getting COVID, yet are willing to accept that risk. That's their choice.

You can have compassion and empathy for your fellow man or as the saying goes, be 'your brother's keeper' and not feel responsible for their choices....good or bad.

I am generally compassionate about my fellow man/woman, but i'm always putting my health first.

If someone is afraid of getting Covid, they should get vaccinated. These people will not be effected by my choice not to be. Assuming the vaccine works.

That's the crux of the argument. If someone is vaccinated, why do they care if i am or not?

They told me because i travel a lot that i "should" get the vaccine.

I told them the choice is mine and not to ask me again.

Everything is fine. I've been all over the US over the past year, dozens of flights and travel destinations. Hotels, restaurants, bars, doc offices, client offices, job sites, etc.

Where is the compassion and empathy in the statement  that unvaccinated should not have the right to work?

They care so much for their well being they should be destitute if they dont conform to this ideology? Im not of an anti vaccine mindset BUT it should be a cause for concern that the military still has made this vaccine optional. If every American should have it, why isnt it mandatory for the soldiers the government has always used as pin cushions?
