You can vary the reps but that type of training protocol I believe is the best overall system for health and fitness.

It is also ideal for a competitive athletes whose training protocol doesn't revolve around weights training and building big, bulking muscles.

Just twice a week is enough for the average person that wants to get and stay in good shape. That's what I did for over a decade during my years when competing in Jiu-Jitsu except I divided it up with upper body one day and lower body a few days later.

You are training your muscles anaerobically and your body aerobically at the same time. No need for boring treadmills and stationary bikes.

you have to play the long game

a lot of people end up stopping through injury wear and tear etc

Don't worry I won't be working out with you anytime soon to try it!

Right now I do a lot of supersets and little rest between sets.
workout takes around 40-45 min.
trying to do more cardio and not spend my whole night in the gym.
