Coventry man jailed after 'unprovoked attack' death



A 20-year-old has been jailed after an "unprovoked attack" on a man who later died in hospital.
Omair Zaman, of Coventry, was given three-and-a-half years for the manslaughter of Andrew Pratt, 72, who was attacked in Stoke on 28 May.
Zaman, from Eld Road, Foleshill, was jailed at Warwickshire Justice Centre after pleading guilty.
Mr Pratt was walking home from a pub when he was punched and kicked to the floor, West Midlands Police said.
The force said he had died in hospital on 8 August.
