man, Ronnie's  back was leaps and bounds above Jays back then.

the biggest advantage that Jay had over Ronnie in that contest was his quads. Ronnie's quads were not up to their usual standard (and in 2003 he turned the tables on jay, showing up with quads  that were better than Jays (even Jay admitted this in his MD coloumn).

Close, but Ronnie takes most of the poses (front and rear double bi, side chest, all lat spreads).

Ronnie's size was incredible that night. Sure Jay's conditioning was impressive (diurhetics), but Big Ron KILLED him from the back - not even close. Greater thickness, width, detail, and yes, conditioning too.

For those who say K-Lo should have beat a bloated and overdieted Ronnie back in 2002, you're wrong. When they turned around, Ronnie's back made levrone look like a little boy. (K-Lo did have the best posing routine of the night tho)
