The only machine that you need is some that works and targets the chest, bicep and abs in one motion. Cut work out time down to 10 minutes

call the "pussy pulling every day build machine".. and every dude will buy it.

That looks pretty good if I was a hermit or on a desert island, but I want to isolate muscles in a gym setting.  I'm already going to be at a gym.

To some extent flyes work biceps also, same with cable crossovers.  Maybe I can drag the abcrunch machine over to the cable crossovers.

Most guys doing an inverted row like the picture show won't need extra weight if they go all the way up touching their chest. . After that a weighted vest is a fantastic addition to lot of exercises.

FWIW, most trainers these days coach that the elbow should not go behind the shoulder on this exercise. I am on the fence about it for ROM reasons, but the guys that are preaching the limited ROM are legit.

I'm not a fan of machines, but I would welcome a versatile machine like this in my gym

What gym has a low bar like that?  You end up having to use a weight bar in a rack or smith machine which is unwieldy and wasteful of gym resources.  When you are at the top using a nonfixed bar the bar can come up off the pins.

I've trained in a gym with 2 of those.  They are good for a lot of ranges of motion.  Good change of pace, mix up the angles.

Why would a limited range be better? You decrease flexibility using a short range and less muscle involvement because the exercise is easier the shorter the ROM. Many guys who do half shoulder and chest presses have tears because when the enviable deeper rep happened the joint is tight from using heavy weights through a short range of motion.

I believe the explanation had something to do with the potential for shoulder injury.

When I do them with a bar (not often, because I prefer the rings), I use a 45 lb bar on pins in a rack. It's my rack in my gym in my house, so I don't worry about the wastefulness of the gym equipment.

When I've done with a bar on a rack like that the bar enviably comes up off the rack at some point.  Seems a bit unstable.

I know it is autocorrect's fault but there it is:  the enviable deeper rep !

Using a smith machine for this is one of the 2 things a smith machine is useful for, outside using it as place to hang your towel.

you will make more money inventing a new abs apparatus to market on TV or a new tomato dicer

Like O' Hearn's frogger ab while gimmick?
Only $1600 or something like that...
