richie rich telling it like it is
« on: January 16, 2016, 08:55:21 PM »
from 3:20 til 4:45 is PURE GOLD Jerry

he claims that at the end of the 4 months he will be leaner than when he started, so this means that all his gains will be in the form of lean dry muscle tissue, we shall see.....

well, if you start depleted like crazy and then put on 20lbs of intramuscular water and glycogen (without spilling over) youll look A HELL OF A LOT LEANER than before. with his weight id say 30lbs gain and looking leaner is easily possible without spilling over, even if not even half of that is actual dry muscle tissue.

Keep in mind he was "off everything" including training, so he says.  So if he started cycling and training anew, the results would be more dramatic, considering you will look like shit before because you stopped cycle and training.

I think he is going to achieve what he claims. Hes already looking visibly bigger and not fatter at all. He hasnt done a heavy cycle in 15years, so obviously hes gonna blow up.
Whats crazy to me is how dirty he eats, like those plane meals microwave stuff, take away food or cookies lol... I guess a guy his siz taking so much shit can get away with that.
He doesnt mention insulin at all, wonder if hes not using or just hiding it. Also the fact he doesnt show scale weight for whatever reason.

he doesnt eat dirty at all... hes not eating "healthy", but who cares. its a typical bodybuilder diet with some leeway...
a lot of this "shit food" thing is just show. he makes it look like he eats crap on purpose but he doesnt...
its ALL for the camera...  and i bet my left nut that he knows exactly what hes putting into his mouth day in day out
"i dont even count that shit" my ass  :D

-the microwave stuff are "clean" bodybuilding meals. i assume theyre from his own food delivery company that hes gonna come out with.
looks like its pasta and turkey meatballs usually...just cuz it comes in a box doesnt mean its shit food. probably not very micronutrient dense, but its got the carbs and the protein, good bodybuilding food.
-the fast food he eats is not that bad either, he seems to never eat the buns of burgers and always gets "protein style" or whatever they call it. meat wrapped in lettuce basically. then steak and salad, theres worse.
-the cookies he casually mentioned in one video are protein cookies. so not pure sugar/fat trash. he made it look like he didnt even know, but if you ever ate a protein cookie you WILL notice the taste  ;D

he still got no clue about nutrition though...
that video where he eats a bowl of cornflakes and claims its 40 or 50 grams of protein LOL
and then he goes on that its milk protein and its incomplete so you gotta drink BCAAs with it  ::)

he says hes not using insulin on the regular... he only uses it to carb up for events etc.
i personally think he is way too unorganized to use it efficiently and thats the reason he doesnt use it.

im hating a bit but i admit that im avidly following his videos. the workout parts are boring but i like to listen to what hes saying.
theres a lot of theory that actually WORKS behind what he does. i dont know where he gets that information from and he talks a lot of shit too, but hes entertaining and keeps it real (if you know how to look behind the facade)

To me processed meatballs, pasta and ton of sauce is not a clean meal. I doubt there is any quality protein in those meat balls and sodium content thru the roof to hide the shitty quality of the meat. Its kind of like subway, it is healthy on paper but the quality of the ingredients is so bad that its actually junk.

Quality food is expensive, you wont have quality meat paying 5 bucks a meal. Like those protein cookies, dont kid yourself they are sugar mixed with the cheapest shittiest casein powder there is. So the average douche read the label and think its fine since it has a wooping 20g of protein in it.

Im impressed of how he doesnt get bloated at all tho. Maybe because hes running masteron atm or taking diuretics ?

Anyway im following the stuff too and love it too. Cant wait for my bulk in april.  ;D

gotta disagree with you here man ;)
how do you know the meatballs are highly processed? i mean obviously meat balls will be processed but that doesnt mean they have low grade ingredients.
how is there no quality protein in MEAT balls? his food comes from a bodybuilding meal prep service.
if anyone watches the ingredients then its their clients.
i doubt they use pink slime or 50% breadcrumbs for their meatballs.

his meals are also pretty damn small. a bit of pasta and sauce costs fuck all, and theres maybe 8oz of meat in there, that costs maybe 2$.
you can easily cook yourself a quality meal for 3$...
and keep in mind that these food services also work in huge bulk amounts, so they probably actually PAY 2$ at best per meal and charge at least 300% that.
thats a low price but still a huge win margin.

regarding the sodium, it doesnt matter either. i personally consider the whole "keep sodium low" thing one of the biggest myths in BB history.
look up how much sodium athletes lose during an intense training session. tons. youll get my point.
if your sodium/potassium balance is out of whack then supplement potassium, dont cut out sodium.

the protein cookies are probably shit yeah. there are good protein bars/ cookies too though, you just gotta search around a bit.
not everything is full of collagen hydrolysate and loaded with sugar...
think he mentioned the manufacturer and said good stuff about them in one of his videos but im too lazy to look that up..

and well... he IS pretty bloated... diuretics? come on, his abs are barely even visible right in the morning.
he is on test, deca and mast.
why would he use diuretics when trying to pack on as much weight as possible.
he said it himself in his latest video that hes bloated and loaded with water right now. he just hasnt got a tendency for that moon face (genetics).
the bloat is to be expected though and im sure he will bring good conditioning for being 300lbs in a couple weeks.
his cycle:

here's what he has to say about gh, slin, and igf3

starting from 1:55 til the end of the clip

but if he ends up leaner than he started and drier as well, then it will be only dry tissue gain, yes?

in my case, i get much drier once i get to 6-7% don't know why exactly, but that how it works in my own case

if i'm 8-9% i look pretty wet, but once i hit 6-7%.... BOOM, the difference is like night and day

not really, but i assume this is different for everyone..

i look fat and soft when im depleted
as soon as theres carbs and water back in the muscle i look much much fuller and with a certain fullness comes dryness. i just look sharper, because the muscle is pushing through the skin from the inside... i gotta say im never really vascular and never get that dry shrink wrapped skin look, unless i really cut down to the bone, which makes me look like skeletor

but with a good pump the difference is amplified tenfold
you will see that when i post pics in my transformation thread

then nothing would happen, because your body regulates its diuretic hormones (aldosterone) within days and adapts to a high sodium intake.
youd retain a bit of water for 3 days and then piss it all out again.
athletes need sodium. the whole low sodium thing is retarded and for the last 2 weeks of contest prep.

i eat 10g of sodium EASILY every single day. and i still purposely put salt and potassium into my pre workout shake.

His gains are just "muscle memory" gains.

You never gain 30 lbs brand new clean muscle in 4 months as a all ready pretty big bodybuilder. For a newby maybe....

would you say that eating pure junk occasionally doesn't really affect body composition? It's genetics on my part I agree, I eat mostly clean but I can eat a pint of ice cream/few brownies without any effect on body composition. I do use AAS (mostly test or npp no GH0, but I try not to do it too often because of health though.

he has said so himself that the majority of his weight gain so far is water gains, and he's gained almost 25 pounds so far (coming from his latest update he says he's almost at 3 bills now)

the key will be how much of his water gains that he'll be able to transition into "quality muscle" gains

he talks about this @ 3:55 til 4:20

eating clean is for health imo. while eating clean is optimal for BB purposes, its far from necessary.
for body composition just get in the proper macronutrients. thats 90% of the deal.
keeping insulin sensitivity as high as possible is important, however thats just as much a genetic thing as a nutritional thing.
obviously dont eat sugar for all your carbs 24/7.  but some guys even can get away with this.
if you eat a ton of sugar and it doesnt affect your insulin sensitivity at all (genetics) then there will be no difference.

of course junk food / trash lacks micronutrients, but while these HAVE effects on body composition they are minor imo.
keep in mind most studies on micronutrients (stuff like curcumin, ursolic acid, spices, herbs etc) usually use dosages youd never acquire through a normal diet anyway.

these are not facts but my personal opinion on the topic.

Does potassium come in a powder form or do you just chuck a pill or two in the blender?. I like that idea seams like my one bannana on workdays is not cutting it.

powder
dont take more than a gram at a time and i wouldnt take more than 1-2g a day max (which is just a tiny brick)
lethal dosage isnt that high for potassium. makes your heart stop beating. WEIGH the stuff. or get tabs

yeah. at least if youre retarded :)
