Like when Goku trained in the time chamber for a year and then took a break while Vegeta trained there for 2 years and still was behind Goku.

Fitter/engineer... My basic salary was shit, you relied on overtime to make it up, which us what they wanted so they had coverage when they needed it with people with the right skillset, which was few and far between.

I know as a money man you wouldn't dream of getting dirty for £12 an hr down the docks

I have zero disrespect for any man who does an honest job.

I couldn't work 80 hours a week, remaining productive all that time would be tough. 45 hrs would be perfect with regular hours.

I used to regularly work 90-100 hours as a junior surgeon in my mid to late 20's. Now it's more like 50 with occasional 60 HR weeks. I still do a bit of paper work/research late at night which I don't count as my core hours. It was very draining at the time doing 80+ hrs but life just went on and I got through it. I probably got a little burned out. I barely ever trained. My quality of life is much better since cutting hours over the last few years. No I would rather work less and have time for family and sport( cycling rather than weights these days) than bust my ass for a few extra pounds, especially when you lose >50% in tax.

I work to live, not live to work.  My personal time, freedom and life is much more valuable to me than working 40+ hours per week.  Now I only work 3 days/wk for a total of 24 hours.  I love it.  That only thing better would be not having to work at all.  I feel sorry for people who become consumed by their jobs.  These people are usually living at or beyond their means... very foolish.

I averaged 90 hours a week last year, worked 4711 total hours. This is a short term thing, plan to retire in a couple of years.

Only time you should work those kind of hours is if it's your own business.

I probably work low 30s these days after getting totally burned out.  Still, between work, exercise, cooking, and cleaning it's easily 60+ hours a week.

Utter misery.  But if you don't 'work hard' how will you make enough money or advance to a less miserable job? ::)

It's easy to 'work' big hours if you are in the zone.  Pull your head out of the sand once in a while, though, and you could easily crumble.  Best to just down some more adderall and get back in there.

My contract is for 36 per week, I usually work less than that. But then again traveling internationally is not seen as overtime and utterly uncompensated. So all in all I probably average about 40-46 per week. Wouldn't want to work more than that, ever. Too many other interesting things to do in this world.

Same here. You really have no self respect if you do imo.

Some people don't see work as work... obviously the low hanging fruit are people like Bill Gates.

Generally, people who enjoy what they do and "get through" the parts they don't, well, they don't see work are the slaving away that is associated with "work."

Most people here, on the other hand, see work as something for the proletariat and certainly not for a Getbigger.
