I agree, Dorian was on a upwards curve and kind of maxed out around 260. But at least he only tried once to be over that in 1997 (and by his accord fucked his condition by using Insulin that year not necessarily being too heavy). Ronnie just kept being heavier and heavier but he wasn't coming in muscle heavier he just wasn't getting as ripped as he was at 248-258.
Also Dorian in 1988 was 226. 1990 227-8 but he said he dried out a lot flying from England to America and had trouble sleeping or eating and kept drying out so he probably should have been around 232 or so. If you've seen pics from that NOC 1990 he was so goddamm fucking ripped he probably could have been around 238-240 if he wanted to be in the condition from 1993.
Dorian was 218 in 1988 when he won the British heavyweight class & overall
Getting his Pro card.
I weighed in after him - No I wasn't in the heavyweight class.
He had trunks, flip flops & a light zip up top on.
In the audience everyone was saying he was 225-235.
Clear winner iirc he didn't get called in the comparisons.
He was that good.
He appeared a little unsure left at the back, he was probably thinking
I'm either 1st or last. Ha.
