I think he already served time for that, some would argue too much time given the nature of the crime.  So no, that probably isn't what he means.  Then again, your far left bias wouldn't have any problem for him receiving a life sentence for such a mild crime

D'souza received what he claims was a harsh punishment for a crime he actually did commit. So, it sounds like he's saying he has either already committed some other crimes or plans on doing so and this film will give the government an excuse to punish him even more harshly.

That isn't at all what he is saying.  He is claiming that he received jail time of of sorts for a crime that is normally a slap on the wrist, as a result of his film.  Thus, the film was the main reason for his punishment in his eyes, causing him to think this film (being more volatile) will cause another unjust penalty

It seems an analogy is in order.  If you fucked the over protective police chief's daughter only to be arrested for throwing a cigarette butt out of your car window 2 days later, you might suspect you were arrested for fucking the daughter and not throwing away a cigarette butt.  You certainly committed a crime by littering but not 1 that warrants jail time

In other words, he thinks they will comb through his history to find the slightest infraction to imprison him in order to shut him up.

If FBI Director Comey presents a rock solid case to the DOJ, and they don't proceed with an indictment, I predict he will resign.

Further, if there is sufficient evidence presented to the DOJ, and they don't indict, I will lose all faith in the system.

The announcement will simply be that they didn't indict for "lac of evidence" or something of that nature.
