Yeh
I'm a total fanboy when it comes to Kim (and the mighty Max Webster). Guy's one incredible talent. Own everything he's ever recorded.
It's a crying shame his most recent, Ain't Life Amazing, wasn't pushed, in any way. And Canadian radio dropped the ball. It's a wicked effort. "Killer's Name" is beyond fantastic.
Mitchell is in my top 10 of favourite guitarists, too. Beyond everything else in his playing worthy of praise, his achievements/diversity in tone and sound is bettered by no one.
As usual, Canada doesn't champion its own talent. That Kim is a relatively forgotten artist in the new millenimum is incredibly upsetting.
For those who dig awesome musicianship and musical craftsmanship, grab the records and enjoy their brilliance. He's much,
much more than "Patio Lanterns" and "Go For Soda" (not that these aren't worthy classics).
