The simple fact is that your argument is wrong.
The comments directed at you are nothing. No malice at all.
It's always tough to read an older gentleman ask for clarification on whether they have successfully owned someone.
I'm 35. The simple fact of the matter is someone posting about you in multiple threads is a way clearer example of obsession than starting a thread about those obsessive posts. It's not even debatable. He wasn't just flipping out trying to get me to respond to his texts, but he was flipping out over an almost entirely imagined response. Starting a thread is not more difficult than posting in a thread and it's not like threads are reserved for only the most important issues, so the idea that somehow that is a real owning doesn't really fly.
I'm fine with the responses, though. Obviously if this was something that I felt sensitive about, I wouldn't have added the last few options to that poll. Or I would have locked voting when the result was (arguably) favorable to me. The fact of the matter is that I'm not an especially hostile poster, but multiple posters have gotten really heated over things I've posted (usually one specific topic
) and then carried that anger over to multiple different threads for what seemed like a longer time than was reasonable. Just like what scott did. So, maybe it's not entirely personal, but I suspect some of it is. Then there's just the fact that this is just how getbig operates.
