Calling customer service is a waste of time.
I disagree completely.
ANY large, commercial business (food, clothing, cable, cell phone, healthcare) will generally have a well-trained customer service dept that handles calls from disgruntled hillbillies and the elderly all day.
If they out-source it to India/China - then maybe dont bother
But if its a nice southern lady - full steam ahead
In my experience, when i talk calmly, logically and provide evidence, while asking for restitution and/or resolution, i have always received more than expected and have come away satisfied.
I will also share those positive experiences with friends, family, google, yelp, etc....which well-run companies count on
