take a guess

How many miles can you run, and what would your average pace be?

You must be quite the runner. A full marathon is a little over 26 miles. On average those who finish need about 4:21 to complete the race. It take just under 8 hours to run 40 miles at the average full marathon pace.

Shame you stopped then.  Under 2 min 800 meters is like super elite.

At your age, you'd still be young enough to perform at a high level, rather than throw that and your health away for some temporary cosmetics.  And, I'm not anti-TRT either, just think it's way too early for you.  But, to each his own - we all do this shit for our own reasons, none right or wrong.

Since you asked, my best ever mile was probably 5:53, but that was in HS with no training, lol.  For me now, I hate running, but do it as necessary means for overall conditioning, OCR/GR type stuff, and it's the ONLY thing that raised my good cholesterol significantly.  I don't try to max out a mile, but if I look back to a workout I was proud of it went like this, since I stayed in the 6 min range on the last mile.  I just finished 12 weeks of Wendler, and am currently working back to this kind of conditioning:

Run one mile in 6:35

1:15 plank

Spreed Ruck 2 miles under 23 min

1/4 mile walk:  with 40 lb ruck, carry 80 lb sand bag....5 push up to start, walk 1/8 mile with bag...drop 10 pushup with ruck...10 walks up bleacher stairs with ruck........10 pushup with ruck, walk rest with sandbag

Ruck 1 mile in 11:20

Bear crawl with ruck 50 yds

Run 1 mile in 6:45

1:30 min plank

that's not bad, and if you're really serious about it you need to incorporate different methods of running training into your regime for example, pace training, lsd (long slow distance), intervals and fartlek (it's a swedish word for speed play, kinda like un-organized intervals but not quite as intense), maybe you do this stuff already

i originally ran to get into shape for basketball, but i ended up being a better runner than baller

my uncles were quite disappointed in this and they basically called me a pussy and said that real men play sports where you can get hurt, like football, basketball, boxing

they also said that bodybuilding is for f@gs

the funny thing is... running and running training is MUCH MUCH harder than bb training, and it's not even fucking close

Yeah, I hear you on it being harder.

I'm not serious about speed performance - I do sprints to stay quick for flag football, but the running is mostly so I can do OCR stuff - the hardest one is usually about 13 miles on a mountain.  Speed is less important for those, just being about to do 10 miles at around 8 min per is fine.

Good luck with your training.

also i quit dips a while ago and replaced them with close grip pressing

dips are too dangerous for injuries

i have no clue what isos are

Like how close? When it's inches apart, I find the movement awkward, but when it's wider sometimes it doesn't feel like it's hitting the triceps as much (asking for a friend).  ;)

typically where the bar knurling starts, which is about shoulder width

supposedly it's scientifically proven that narrower than that doesnt give any advantage, just wrist problems

Experiment and find the closest grip you can do without pain in the wrists ect and stick with that, the excercise tends to work better with a pause at the bottom, for me at least

i never said it was for f@gs my uncles did

and the reason being is that it's a non-contact "sport" no one hits/smashes/tackles you (football), pushes/elbows you (basketball), or punches you (boxing) so since there is no kind of contact it's a fag activity according to them

I expect the opposite is more accurate. Think about pro wrestling.... I believe some refer to them as mat fags. Contact sports require the players to touch other players, most often of the same gender.
