This thread seems as good as any to ask: is anyone intending to see the new Independence Day movie?  I'm no film buff, so literally saw a billboard for it today for tbe first, and just watched the trailer(s).  Looks a bit heavy on the CGI, but I'm a big Goldblum fan...

Too many great movies to list. Better probably broken into categories. Even the old classic black and white movies, all good story telling. Some of John Ford's westerns also. Or the original Shane and 3:10 to Yuma  (that remake of 3:10, badly done)
