I have to agree with this, providing you're deficient - a blood test last year showed I was low, so the Doc prescribed a high dose for a few days - I can't remember but I think it was something like 10,000IU a day for 4 or 5 days? Then a maintenance dose of 1000 like you. I'd had vaguely aching joints and my feet were quite painful in the mornings - I thought it was an aging thing (approaching 50), but lo and behold the pain has all gone now and that's the only thing I changed...
Yeah with low vit D my finger joints were sore, I though it was carpal tunnel because I'm on a computer all fuckng day. After taking Vitamin D for a while, soreness is gone.
