GS has always been one of my favorite BB'ers. But, I don't care if he's 295 or 330, he's not going to win unless he's worked a miracle w/his back. I hope he has, I really do.

Jeff kept posting Gary's pics, talking about a comeback, making like they were friends.

Gary went on the boards and distanced himself, saying he barely knew Jeff and had no clue what he was talking about with a comeback. 

Weird moment.

Gary is 6'0" maybe 6'1" at the most and in no way shape or form 300lbs in those pics , hes lucky if he is 250lbs

He tried at the 96 NOC and didn't even make the cut (top 15)....

I have been going to the Mecca for years and have seen many pros go through. This large guy always was training hard but always covered up. Just thought he was just another huge wanna be bodybuilder with no symmetry. Now he is wearing sleeveless shirts showing off his huge delts and arms.  Readying himself to competition form. I have now found out that it was former pro Gary Strydom.  I have seen him flex his abs when he thinks no one's watching. Damn he is shredded! Ready to step on stage today. I would say weighing 295 at his height is about right.  I checked onto this site to see if it was true that he is competing again.  If so, Colorado doesn't know whats comin!
