Anyone see the new "Beats" headphones commercial?
« on: December 10, 2017, 06:36:04 PM »
Lots of hot button issues like a black dude getting arrested by the cops, a woman taking boxing/self defense lessons all with the "rise above" mantra. Where and how does this all end, are they trying to purposely set something in motion? Do they want people pissed off at each other and try to foment hate?

Beats headphones were bought by black actors and musicians and the original beats by dre were also music industry related obviously as Dr Dre is a millionaire in the music industry. This explains all of the bullshit propaganda no wonder their sales are getting worse and worse. Beats were just a pump and dump for a year or two anyway. Anyone who still buys is retarded

It's to get attention to the ad they spent millions on and obviously from there the product.

Basically the ad is barely released and there is 'thousands of complaints' about how racist or sexist the ad is. The company then issues a 'statement' that their ad isn't trying to offend anyone and it was just to promote their product to the right market.

All of which is pre planned, as no-one knew or gave a fuck about the ad until they created that people were complaining.

Then the next week another company does something similar.

They didn't really have a good product from the getgo, so they have to rely on something.

I never understood headphones,The only place I would listen to music is in my car and even then I don’t really. Is music that important that people need to walk around with headphones on?Also not much looks dumber than walking around with big stupid headphones on.havent seen as as if it came on I would change it immediately.

You are missing out on a truly great aural experience, if you have a great set of headphones. Plus, people will leave you alone in the gym.

When in reality, the woman is taking self defense to defend herself from the black dude who probably pulled a gun on the cops.

Also, the new iPhone commercial seems to be pushing a specific agenda.

I only use headphones when I'm in the gym doing cardio. I just have cheap sports headphones. I can't understand why anyone (unless they are involved in the music industry) would want to spend so much money on headphones. Even if the sound quality is great, it still isn't worth it.

I know, it seems like such a waste, but in reality people purchase them for status reasons/showing off.

I go through headphones like nothing, so I usually buy earbuds from the dollar store, lol.

One spends money for great sound quality.
The beats headphones were bass heavy, but poor quality for what they charged. One was buying into the hype and the name.

You're still limited by the audio device you use though. Cell phones and mp3 players can't take advantage of high end ear phones, when the limit is reached they will end up offering the same quality no matter the specs, price, brand, etc.....

Beats are great marketing. They made the high dollar ear phone a fashion accessory for everyone. They are to ear phones what nike is to shoes.

The best marketing job they did was to get Apple to break character and purchase their brand.
