Mike Chang started off as an affiliate marketer and then hit it HUGE with YouTube, becoming one of their largest advertisers of paid advertorial "content." At first, he was selling basic plans but then got into supplements. Not what happened internally, but he tired to get his confidants to step into his role. Everything appeared to die out shortly there after. Hopefully he saved all his money. Mike is Asian so I'm sure he planned ahead and is soon to make his next move.
As for the "ethics" of selling fart powder to the bodybuilding community, who gives a fuck?
