Obama vs. Putin: Arriving in China airport -edition

Haha, why they didn't give Obama tall stairs and red carpet like they gave to Putin ???

Bodybuilding related because top bodybuilders always draw attention at airports too.

Haha, I remember when Bush II was president and Dems would say how little he was respected around the world. Between the Chinese telling him to fuck off, Putin mocking him, England voting for him to piss off, Iran doing fly-bys on our naval carriers and the Pinoy calling Obama's mother a whore, I'd say new lows have been reached.

Because he's not a communist?

I mean, last I saw China was a communist country and Russia was a communist country pretending to be a democracy... So there's that.

Sad when the citizens of the US support what a communist piece of shit country does.

Where is your patriotism people? Or is patriotism saved for a different sort of person?

There's so little communism in Russia (mainly the remaining Lenin statues) that I suspect it's more the mutual understanding and respect.

I thought Putin was really into the old communist ways?

He's an ex-KGB guy... he surely liked the old guard. The only thing the fall of the SU did was give him an inside road to the leadership from a political standpoint, were the SU still in effect, he would be sitting on the outside looking in.

Most likely you are right on that he would now most likely be a retired intelligence officer.

Don't know if he is a communist in heart.
I think he has never straight talked about that.
Just the famous line "who ever doesn't miss soviet union has no heart, who ever wants it back has no brain".

It matters not in the long run really. The current Russia is what we have. That's the way it goes. I suppose that if Obama really saw it is as a slight, he could just instantly put a ban on Chinese goods.

Fuck 'em.

America needs to remind China who is boss.

They have one shitty aircraft carrier, substandard ships and new fighter-planes which are blatant copies of American designs, except with considerably inferior capabilities.

They are not well liked in the rest of Asia, their people especially tourists are considered uncivilized and 'uncultured'. Actually, no one likes them.

Most of chinese fighters are actually copies of Russian jets.

Except their cardboard "stealth" proto one which is copy of F35. With Russian engines.

Even the carrier is built on soviet design.

Goes show you arms development is not easy. It's extremely demanding task if you want to eventually get the thing in serial production. Taking years, sometimes decades of research and development. Plus building the whole infrastructure for production and maintenance.
