ive read about this several months ago... antivirus programs are a money scam? never bought any, id just get the freebees. im sure many other people are brainwashed to pay for it.

I'm a bit biased because I used to work at Symantec but in my opinion, Norton is just so much better... The UI is great, fairly light right now but still customizable. Make the switch.
