You're correct all the way.  BUT Trump isn't considered to be a viable option by 55% of the population at this point.  

He isn't going to get 270.  Hillary is at 370 estimated electoral votes, if it was held today.  Nate has her at 84%.  Trump just cancelled a shitload of florida ad buys.

Doing what repubs have been doing isn't going to do it.  They need a HUGE change.  That change is named Mike Pence.
