In the early 90's I tried that Leo Costa routine where the daily caloric intake was 6,000+ cals/ed...I got to about my 2nd week and couldn't go past 5,000.
I was essentially eating while sitting on the bowl, workout, eat then shit again.
Most people who think you can do it havent tried it.

No, I have never posted a pic, and never will.  Zero pics of me on the internet, and I intend to keep it that way.

I'm 6' 3", not very impressive.  Also, the stats above were long ago.  I've since given up force feeding myself and obsessing over lifting weights.  I'm a happy 185 lbs now.   :)

so now you are a schmo...

At 6'3 you will need a higher amount of cals than someone 5'10, still 6000 every day is taxing anyones digestive system.

As I said before, most people who say they eat 6000, may do it the odd day of the week, they certainly dont do it every day, and TBH if they do they atre just getting fat or shitting it out before it has time to convert into fat.

What does Bombaclat mean?

I believe it's a technical term from Jamaican Logic denoting a specious inference. For example, say Glennroy commits the fallacy of affirming the consequent, Jamarco would correct him by stating that his argument is spurious: e.g., "Foofool, Dat's bumboclaat, mon."

many who claim to eat 6000 cals a day simply don't, they may eat it for the odd day but to eat so much food depending on your size would simply overload your digestive system, you body can only process so much and the stomach needs to empty, if you keep trying to eat when you are full you will simply be sick.

Also the body can only assimilate so many nutrients, it also only manufactures new muscle tissue at a certain rate, everyone's different (genetics)
If you are not genetically predisposed to assimilating nutrients and creating new tissue, no amount of calories are going to help you

You need to work out a calorific intake that allows you to make gains but not get fat.
Errrr....wrong.

From a gimmick with 52 posts that was quite a comeback.

So you are telling me they consumed at least 40 lbs of water/food in two days?

And the body was able to incorporate 40 lbs of it into the cells?

In two days?

Would you like me to post pictures of a light heavyweight bodybuilder who lost 28lbs in 24 hours to make weight?

Something tells me you have never dieted.
I used to go out clubbing on a Saturday night years ago and lose 14lb overnight and put it back on again by Sunday night

water retention , FFS I hope that was a troll post...

So, I waited a few days to dredge this up because I wanted to get some informed opinions on this.

The gym I train at has some physique/bodybuilding competitors who also train there. Yesterday (Saturday morning), three of them were there: a physique competitor who is an IFBB pro, a guy who competed as a bodybuilder and is now doing physique and a trainer who competes as a bodybuilder. They are fairly open about their cycles with me. (Even though I don't juice, I am a gym rat.) The physique pro claims to be natural on his facebook page. The physique pro just did a show not too long ago. I had been waiting for the opportunity to ask one of them about the numbers you posted in this thread and previous threads because they just didn't seem quite right to me. I specifically asked about losing 28 pounds in one day. They all said that they had never heard of anything like that and that they couldn't do it. I asked them about gaining weight after contests. They said they usually put on about 5-7 pounds the day after a contest and could go up 15 in about a week. None of them had heard of going up 40lbs in two days. They didn't take any special precautions in regards to binging after a show, but they said the first meal after a show causes major shits. Also that part of the reason to do cheat meals is so you avoid indigestion/upset stomach when you start eating junk again.

Now, I'm not saying the stuff you've said could NEVER happen, but it doesn't appear that it's considered common.
