Any South London Getbiggers out clubbing last weekend...?

"It’s happened before and it will happen again – to me and other fat people. The difference now is that I don’t want pity from people, I want anger.

This happened on a recent Saturday. I had rushed out of a gig and got the tube to Kennington, south London, where I was waiting for my bus. I’d forgotten my headphones so I was hyper-aware of all the drunk people walking the streets, getting on the tube, going into the city centre to seek shelter in nightclubs where the music, fortunately, is so loud that no one can hear them speak, which means they never have to develop personalities.

I saw four young men approach. I was not surprised when they spoke – I expected it. “Oi, you fat c*nt!” one of them said. “Oink oink,” said another. The rest is a blur because I focused on whatever was on my phone. It hurt, of course. As it would have hurt anyone.

I cannot say it clearly enough: this happens on a daily basis to hundreds of thousands of fat people everywhere.

Not having any idea what to do, I put it on Facebook...."

The same way you'd laugh at some skinny fuck continuously flexing in front of the mirror at the gym.

I'd laugh to myself. No need to shit all over someone who isn't bothering anyone. Not saying I don't feel a bit of disgust for the lack of self control a fat person has, I just don't feel the need to attack for no reason. Now if she skinny shamed some model or something, I'd have something to say, but to joke on someone unprovoked is just childish.

2/3rds of all adults are overweight in the US, pretty sure the UK is not far behind. She is actually a majority. The club scene is not for the faint of.... sight. She should know better.

Maybe the 4 guys were just joking and they need to work on their delivery of telling a fat joke to a fat woman better. This to me seems like a female comedian bullying 4 potential male comedians...

It should be accepted practice that you suffer persistent verbal abuse if you are fat, it's only the fat persons fault that they are in such slobbish, disgusting hard on the eye condidion and daily ridicule should be the norm
