This kind of rebellious behavior isn't uncommon in youth when parents get divorced. They feel victimized over their parents divorcing and they lash out in the exact same self destructive ways in which this girl is doing. I've seen it in other families. They'll do every rebellious thing in the book. Take drugs, consume excessive amounts of alcohol, commit crimes such as theft, cover their bodies in tattoos, and the ever popular way of rebelling against Mommy and Daddy, date a black guy.
