TK, THANKS for the results. I'm not at all surprised about Chris Bumstead's win and I think he will continue to dominate the Classic arena until he decides to give bodybuilding a try.

Here's a question which I have no answer for ..... but seems to have been answered in this Pittsburgh Pro event.....

Are IFBB Pros eligible to enter another  IRBB Pro event other than the events in which  he won his Pro Card?

In other words .... Can an IFBB Bodybuilding Pro enter an IFBB Pro Classic contest without qualifying within an NPC Classic Pro qualifier?

WES, You probably have heard of Chris Bumstead earlier. He won some major event up in Canada at the age of 20 if I recall correctly and is expected to do exceptionally well in Classic and possibly bodybuilding in the near future.

For anyone who may not be aware of this relatively new Classic event ... Chris and Timms and this new kid on the block are among the best of the best within the Classic arena.

But .... there are hundreds of others who haven't even thought OF competing yet .... but will be soon if this even keeps on growing as it has one these past couple of years.

Here's Chris and the 'new kid' and TIMMS representing the new and improved classic physique .... but as I said ... there are hundreds more.

An immense improvement over the past 12 months.

Bodybuilding  fans might have to get used to the lack of "thong warriors" on the battlefield" now that each of the other events are drawing in hundreds of competitors.

It's possible that  the amount of time it takes to go through the prejudging process has caused the promoters to drop one of the events  .... and in this case it was the bodybuilding competition.

The Classic BB event just might be enough 'bodybuilding' to fill that void for the promoter and the fans alike.

But I am surprised as you are.

Expect to see the bodybuilders of the past start showing some interest in Classic comps. It's somewhat easier (relatively speaking) and more acceptable for the ticket purchasers.

bodybuilders are now entering it and same with the board short brigade - in the olympia Danny Hester was a bber and Sadik is a physique guy

nah, that is what all the classic dudes wear, either it says NPC on the trunks or IFBB


some mens classic trunks are all black.. it is easier to just buy the standard issue one. thank god i dont have to buy board shorts or posing trunks... one less thing to deal with
