I'm glad you ask, because non Arnold fans (most people)  watching the film were like WTF was that about  ?   Us fans feel like he's the greatest BB of all time right there  ! so I felt really sad and uncomfortable  ...and later that night  had to get some drinks to  ease the paint and try to erase that image from my mind, and  hope Sly and Ferrigno don't  throw their larger than life image away like that for nothing in return .

Just watched  two recent Arnolds movies Maggie and Aftermath  (yes those are two movies Arnold has been in it recently) if you didn't know


Couldn't decide which one's worse !  more boring ,no action, no enough dialogue, extremely slow and quiet...in the film Aftermath;  there's an unnecessary  scene of Arnold taking a shower butt naked!  he looks like a turtle standing in two legs! no need to expose the greatest BB of all time this degraded way

Don't know what's he after at this point, but those are Low budget films even too low for Lou Ferrigno standars

I thought "Maggie" was bad, but its impossible to make a hit movie EVERY single time.

Me too.  My personal favorite is 'True Lies'.  Great action, very funny, Jamie Lee Curtis stripping, sexy b1tch fight between her and Tia Carrere....    What's not to like!?!?  Truly his halcyon moment...

But:  For some reason it appears to be perhaps the only one of Arnie's movies to have not have been treated to a blu ray update?  Given the relevance of the story - crazed jihadis steal a nuke......  erm....  ok maybe there's a reason after all....

I used to think that way too up until T3 , 2003 I think ?  While the last Stamd wasn't as bad as critics say it was. I'll say Arnold's worst movies have all come out in the past 10 years.

Adnold never had a great movie. He was in a few films that remain fun to watch, but those where all filmed in the 1980s.

Terminator 1 & 2 were definitely great movies.
Predator, Total Recall, The Running Man and Conan the Barbarian were very good movies but arguably fall short of being great.

I dunno, I think I'd put predator in the great category,
It's ageless, stands the test of time and the ultimate man film. Honestly what could be improved on in predator,  pacing, action,  script all top notch and the cast was great.

Van Damme had two or three decent movies , Universal soldier was the last one .... and that was 25 years ago.

Luckily I live in la so I can always find some quirky run down art house theater that will actually show an Arnold film so I can still see him on the big screen as all his shit is straight to video or released to some peasant country where he's still relevant.
