I just recently set up a home gym. Cost right around $1,100 for a power rack, flat bench press, 45 degree hyper extension, decline sit up,  Olympic bar and 515lbs worth of Olympic weights. Along with a make shift platform for the rack to rest on. Have to say, it feels great not having to wait on people anymore.

Did you buy most of your equipment used? That’s a really low cost for that setup.

The only things used were the Olympic plates which are in good shape. I picked them up from a local gym owner for around 50 cents per pound. Everything else was new off Amazon.

One of these days Crossfit Mania will end and the market will be flooded with bumper plates.

Not at all.

I want some but don't want to spend the money for good quality bumper plates.
