You have Classic and Physique backwards, don't you?

Bodybuilding: heaviest
Classic: next heaviest, legs visible
Physique: least heavy, legs can be neglected and can be penalized for too much bulk; also, smile, looks and "personality" count somewhat in judging

All that said, the pro Physique guys seem to be getting pretty big.

Actually, Mens Physique competitors have height divisions WITHOUT weight restrictions...therefore the order of potential "heaviest to lightest" would be 1. Bodybuilding 2. Physique 3. Classic (height AND weight restrictions)

OK I see your point. Where is the source of information on his actual weight at the contest this weekend? Even so, this would be more a case of "he tricked the system" rather than a general statement about these two competition categories. Darrem Charles downgraded from Bodybuilding to Classic last year (and won) but I guarantee you that he would never have considered going into a show wearing Board Shorts. Nor would they have let him.

he would do what calum von moger and chris burmfield did (shed tons of wieght and be lean as hell on stage)

i bet his stage weight was around 200-205lbs at 6'1'' he could compete in  mens classic and do very well. 


sergi has a bad ass build and he is smart to play and parlay his popularity status onto the stage. he is a world wide fitness model, his name plate is going to help him place every freakin time (good for him cuz bodybuilding is political)
