Martin Landau RIP
----------------------------
Famed television and film actor Martin Landau has passed away. He was 89.
Landau is probably most famous for his roles in two television series, the classics Mission Impossible and Space: 1999.
Landau met his future wife on the set of MI, the actress Barbara Bain. The two married in 1957, but eventually divorced in 1993. The former couple have two daughters.
Despite being known mostly as a star of the small screen, Landau was a veteran of numerous film roles, including his Academy Award winning role in Tim Burton’s 1994 film Ed Wood. Landau played another famous actor, the aging Bela Lugosi, best known for his portrayal of Count Dracula in Universal Pictures 1931 classic film.
Landau won the Best Supporting Actor Oscar, Golden Globe and Screen Actors Guild award for his performance.
The actor’s career goes all the way back to the great Alfred Hitchcock, who cast Landau in one of his earliest film roles as the villain Leonard in the legendary thriller North by Northwest.
Landau died on Sunday, July 15, 2017, at the Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center in Los Angeles, California after having been briefly hospitalized. According to his representative, the actor died of "unexpected complications".

I loved him as an actor. He was the classic chameleon. Christopher Walken is very similar in a lot of ways as an actor.
I loved him in the first X-Files movie - The X-Files: Fight the Future.
