What we are seeing from The Left nowadays isn't liberalism. The Left has been hijacked by the communist/anarchist types, and since they can't win the trust of The People via voting/campaigning, they are now calling for widespread civil unrest. Why does it have to be the average teacher teaching these classes? Why can't you hire specialized computer instructors? The cost excuse is always a good one to rationalize failure.

Obviously, I never get sick of hearing how right I am, but I didn't say anything was a lost cause. There will always be underperforming schools. If they underperform with math and reading, why wouldn't that be the case in a subject in which the teacher has a limited understanding of a subject?

I saw a problem with Europe even before the Muslim invasion. It had been infected by socialism to the point where entrepreneurship was pretty much dead. If you look at all the best European companies they're all 100 years old. Where is the Apple of Europe? The Amazon? The Uber? The Home Depot? Who are the great European entrepreneurs?

The Western Roman Empire let in hundreds of thousands of fleeing Barbarian refugees near 400 AD and in 476 AD those same 'refugees' controlled the entire Western Roman Empire, including North Africa.

Once they're inside the territory, their numbers increase, they get more political leverage, can make demands and threats, and eventually win control of the territory via political or other means.

At the same time, the central governments tax base weakens, their army and police get weaker and have to abandon areas, their money gets weaker, living standards decrease, production goes down, resources get less, violence increases, the government starts ruling from a shrinking enclave, areas claim independence, and the whole territory starts to fragment and break apart.
