2017 Olympia - Phil Heath is going to go for 10 Olympia wins!
« on: September 17, 2017, 11:30:38 AM »
Friend of mine says he just spoke to Big Phil and...Hes going for the TEN!!!!!

That's right! My pal bodybuilder Steve just rang Phil to congratulate him on the 7th and asked if hes going for the 8th, Phil replied "8?!?!Man I'm going for TEN!!!!"

WOW Phils gonna go down as the greatest EVER!

  • Better to die on your feet than on your knees.
And his gut will get worse at each future contest.  It will actually be funny to compare previous Mr O's to this bloofy POS.

I guess when you have the head judge in your back pocket, why not.

The sad part is that he will win 10 Olympias if he keeps competing. The only person who keeps Phil on his toes is Ramy (and maybe Curry). And even then, Ramy can be "hit or miss."

Dexter Jackson: too old
Cedric McMillian: too old and too soft
Victor Martinez: lol
William Bonac: he may keep phil on his toes, but hes too short to ever win
Brandon Curry: he may be a major threat to phil, but by the time he becomes a major threat, Phil will already have won 10
Roelly Winklaar: flawed structure
Josh Lenartowicz: doubt it, but you never know. Not the best structure.
Shawn Rhoden: he's too hit or miss to pose a clear threat to phil

I think this will be his last win. Ramy pushed him very close this year and his win was received negatively by almost all fans. I can see the judges giving the title to Ramy next year if both bring the same package they did over the weekend.

Lol @ your assessment of Victor Martinez.  ;D

What about Big Ramy?

PS - at the 2005 Mr. Olympia after party, Ronnie Coleman told Lonnie Teper that he was going for 10.  Ironically, it was earlier that night during Ronnie's victory collapse that he sustained the injury on his left side that made it impossible for him to train his left side as he normally could, and he lost the next year as a result.  He was over 290 in 2006, and if not for the injury to his left biceps, and left upper back, he looked about as good as he did in 2003, and could have won.

It all came down to the bursitis he sustained during his 2005 Mr. Olympia victory collapse.

In my previous post, I stated that Ramy is the only competitor to keep Phil on his toes, thus did not include him in the lineup because my statement implies that he is "neck in neck" with Phil.

We were at an after party with Ronzo and co and Heath said he was going to take it year to year.

Who knows what to believe though...these guys are completely depleted and gassed by the end of these shows, so a lot of time they're just talking nonsense.

Phil could win 12 and he would never be seen as the greatest

he will still be seen as an arrogant insecure douche

never in the same league as Dorian, Ronnie, Lee, Arnold

sorry phil, you and your physique suck
