I don't recall Chad saying that Dexter looked awful.
He simply stated that you could notice that Dexters skin has aged. That's obvious, given that people's skin changes as they age.
What's the big deal?
It's not a huge deal - I just don't see what Chad is seeing here. I think there was a fleeting moment - around 2011 - where Dexter seemed like he would age normally, and would probably decline completely at around age 45 or so, based on the results he received that year, but that did not happen. I think that Dexter's skin looked great this year, and his back looked as crisp as I have ever seen it before.
Is there a particular area that Chad is referring to? Very often, the chest displays the type of looseness as a sign of aging that Chad is referring to. But I'm just not seeing it with Dexter. Even if it is 1% looser than it was last year, big deal. It's not like he is getting a Craig Titus chest happening here - or the way that Jay Cutler's chest skin looked like in 2007.
I honestly think Dexter will be able to compete until the age of 55 by the way things are going so far. Maybe that ends up not happening, but I just don't see any significant signs of aging, and I thought it odd that Chad considered it significant enough to bring up.
But who knows...maybe he's seeing something that I'm not.
