LEVRONE: ASC '96 vs 97
« on: November 14, 2017, 08:47:23 AM »
Good example of how widely Levrone's shape/condition varied from year to year.

'96 ASC (pics 1, 2) arguably his highest stage weight, and one of the best packages he ever brought to the stage.

'97 ASC (pics 3, 4) he was soft, watery and down in size. Looked flustered.

Anyone that followed bodybuilding in the 90's knew that Levrone went through a divirce during the lead up to the 1997 Arnold Classic.

I don't think Lee was narrow, quite the contrary, long torso and short legs, sure.

lowest placing of his career aside from the olympia debacle last year

his other lowest placing was 6th at the 2003 olympia, his second to last show before he retired

He came back with a ton of size and a vengeance later that year for the '97 Mr. O.
