Those guys are so hardcore on preworkouts, it's crazy. They list that shit and it's like, how the fuck are you not absolutely out of your mind?
It's not quite the same, but it was a lesson - I was once on holiday with bros and had a small amount of speed. I wasn't really getting much from it (and indeed, I'd been using it once a day at night for most of the week with only minor, positive effects).
So being about 20 years old, naturally, I bought an energy drink or two and proceeded to slam them.
What followed was absolute madness. My heart accelerated into the stratosphere and I was forced to separate from my brothers and walk the streets of the city for about 10 hours, until roughly 8am.
I was so epic pumped (and utterly dog tired) at the same time that the only thing that I could do was keep powerwalking. If I sat, it was absolute hell. I have no idea what the heart rate was but I will never hit that high again.
Having seen my face on ecstasy (in a vid someone took, on a dancefloor), I can only imagine how absolutely fucking crazy I must have looked during that time. I was vaguely aware that I was getting some odd looks, throughout the walk, but the eyes were firmly on the prize of keeping the insane body effects to as best I could.
That night, I learned to not be a complete fool with stimulants and that over the counter shit can be really fucking bad.
