Doesn't he know that if people really want to get an abortion they are always going to find a way so it's pointless to make any laws that attempt to restrict actions or limit access

Doesn't he know that Congress doesn't actually make laws to restrict peoples behavior or limit access to things such as abortion or guns

Vice President Pence predicted Tuesday that legal abortion would end in the U.S. "in our time."

"I know in my heart of hearts this will be the generation that restores life in America," Pence said at a luncheon in Nashville hosted by the Susan B. Anthony List & Life Institute, an anti-abortion organization.

"If all of us do all we can, we can once again in our time restore the sanctity of life to the center of American law."

Aren't you for banning guns so people stop killing each other? By your own logic, with or without access to guns, if people want to murder, won't they find a way? So then how does a law banning guns stop killers?

That's the Republican reason why there is no point attempting to do any legislation about guns

Also, I learned from this site that Republicans (at least on this site) believe that we don't make laws to restrict peoples behavior

I've said before and I'll say again there is NOTHING we can do about gun violence in this country

The only action we can take it to add more guns in every aspect of our lives and all that will do is have more armed people so when someone snaps and starts to shoot we'll have more people shooting back.

I don't agree with abortion, although I don't have a uterus or a vagina so I'm not sure my opinion matters. I believe what Bill Clinton said about abortion. It should be legal, safe and rare. Let whoever has one deal with the consequences mentally in this life, and let God sort it out in the afterlife (if there is one).
