2018 NPC Salt City Showdown: Johnson Family Competing, Mother, Father & Son

One of the cool things I saw at the NPC Salt Lake City was that a family was competing together at the contest.
 But most interesting was that the son and the dad were competing against each other in the same men's physique division, in the same class.
 Don't remember seeing that one before...

Oh and the entire family was super cool!





Vaughn, Nicole and Jake Johnson. Vaugn and Nicole are married, Jake is Vaughn's son - and all three are competing at the 2018 NPC Salt City Showdown.

So if you're as curious as I was about the outcome of this family showdown...

The son, Jake (with his 4 weeks of prep) placed 1st in the Men's Physique Open "C" Class.  Dad Vaughn, with his 4 months of prep, took 14th.  

EDIT:  Mom Nicole took 1st in the Bikini Masters over-35 division and also 1st in the Bikini Open "D" Class, but did not win the overall.  Not too bad!

I thought it was Jake's sister!

I wish a lot of people were as cool as this family was . all smiles, all respect.   Came to the competitors check-ins in a good mood, and had fun.
