Weider's the star of the show there. That's a guy that's been through it all before, and knows how to get shit done. You can tell he probably thought some of that stuff was small potatoes, but he lets Arnold have his moment, and by extension, gains more favor with him.

Yeah...  that makes a lot of sense..... Paul Graham, a nobody, small time crook from Australia is who was responsible for Arnold's success.

 Probably rigged the gubnertorial election. Gary Davis was heard to say "Dammit,  not Paul Graham! This is the guy who promoted the 80 Olympia! We're fucked!"

 I heard Paul nearly butt-fucked James Cameron to death until he gave Arnold the terminator role.

  Also heard Graham was the guy who wrote the script for pumping iron. Made sure Arnold got the best lines and convinced everyone to read the lines that made them look like simpleton losers.

He was in Essen for the 72 Olympia too. Didn't promote that show but booked a room with Sergio Oliva the night before the contest to "help him prepare for the contest."

I think the only reason the other Bodybuilders at Golds Gym tolerated Arnold was his connection to Weider, shame Mentzer never punched his head off.

Mentzer certainly couldn't beat him on stage.

Arnold's calves were unreal! It's his small joints that made them pop more. I've had my calves up to over 19". But I have a bigger structure than Arnold and his smaller joints were a major advantage.
